Tea Party

Yard Work

I hate yard work. Today we got the leaf removal done and I am sitting here barley able to move. Kristi and I always fight before big projects as this seems to give us the energy to get the project done. There must be a better way to get things done, but we have not found the way. I did have fun pulling Becca around in her new wagon and Java got to spend lots of time outside. One of the problems I have is not really caring if the leaves stay on the ground and Kristi being much more concerned about the way the yard looks. Telling Kristi I don’t care only makes her sad so the leave got remove and I still don’t care, but at least she is not sad. In the end spending the day outside is better for me then inside watching T.V. or reading books, but no matter what I really hate yard work.

Pet Peave

The problem with WAWA, people are generally stupid and lazy and yes I know I am being generous when I make this statement. I have found that often people have a hard time walking out the door to their right which can create a problem when you are attempting to enter a store and like lemmings as you open the door on your right side and a line of people leaving will poor out of the store on your side instead of opening the door on their side. I have gotten used to waiting as various idiots poor out giving you guilty smiles and usually saying thanks. But what really gets my goat is when you may be entering the store as someone is leaving and as they are passing out you are going in and they shout the “Your Welcome.” As they smugly walk away. This happened to me the other day and I turned around and went out and told the guy to go fuck himself. He wisely walked away. He was out the door and I was in with no need to touch the door. If he had waited holding the door for me maybe I would have felt differently, but that was not the case. I wish everyone would manage their own doors and we would not be obligated to participate in this meaningless exchange of social nicety. I am more then capable of opening a door for myself and really I mean this sincerely go fuck yourself if you think because you open a door you where going out entitles you to any acknowledgment. That fact that say “your welcome.” Shows you have no class to begin with. When I sit there an patiently wait for all those morons coming out the wrong door I really could care less if they say thank you or smile. I am just stuck waiting because you are either too stupid or lazy to open your own door. I know that I am myself stupidly overreacting when I get angry and I should just let the person walk away feeling good in their righteous indignation over my lack of manners, but it just more fun to tell the person to go fuck themselves. Feel free to comment but you can guess my answer.

Bah Humbug.

Well I am going to try to back into the habit of posting to a blog. So many things to say, but the question is where to start. I really am not a fan of Christmas and even though I now have a child I am still finding this time of year miserable. People are stressed out and everyone seems to have expectations that will never come true. Lets just get rid of this unneeded and unwelcome time of year.

Opening Day

Spring is here and the Phillies start the season with and win. McNabb is off to the Redskins and this will be sure to come back to bite we long suffering Eagles fan in the butt. But the best thing about today is that when I got home Becca wanted to dance with her daddy. I just finished watching an interesting documentary about the Mormons on PBS. Every Mormon I have met has been a very nice, but the history is clearly about as crazy as the scientologist. Well more later it is time for bed.
